The 2017 Kia Sorento vs. The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox

  • While a 2.0-liter Turbo 240-horsepower engine is available to Sorento shoppers, no such engine has been made available to Chevrolet Equinox shoppers.
  • Features such as Push Button Start with Smart Key comes standard on EX, SX and SX Limited Sorento trims but has yet to be made available to Chevrolet shoppers.
  • This year's Kia Sorento offers features such as an available panoramic sunroof, Nappa leather-trimmed seats and a 14-way power driver’s seat with memory settings. Unfortunately for Equinox shoppers, many of these features are not available to them.
  • This year's new Kia Sorento is standard with a 5-year/60,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Basic Warranty. Meanwhile, Chevrolet’s warranty tops out at 3-years/36,000-miles.
  • The 2017 Kia Sorento vs. The 2016 Toyota Highlander

  • Unlike the 2016 Toyota Highlander, this year's new Kia Sorento can be had with a 2.0-liter Turbo 240-horsepower engine.
  • Choose the Kia Sorento and you'll have the chance to opt for features such as a Surround View Monitor. Unfortunately, no such feature is available on the Toyota Highlander.
  • While a Rear Park Assist System is available on the Sorento LX and standard on EX, SX and SX Limited trim levels; such a feature requires a costly upgrade when choosing the Toyota Highlander.
  • Heated front seats are available on the Sorento LX and standard on EX, SX and SX Limited trim levels. Meanwhile, Toyota shoppers must upgrade to the XLE trim when shopping for a new Highlander.
  • The 2017 Kia Sorento vs. The 2016 Honda CR-V

  • The 2017 Kia Sorento’s powertrain lineup offers more options as well as increased power, when compared to Honda CR-V.
  • While this year's Kia Sorento can be had UV-reducing solar control glass and an Acoustic Laminated Windshield, neither of these features are available to Honda shoppers.
  • Available with UVO eServices with Premium Navigation, this year's Sorento offers a far more comprehensive selection of tech-savvy features when compared to the Honda CR-V.
  • Available with ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, this year's Sorento is made to put your comfort at its forefront. Unfortunately, these features have yet to be made available on the Honda CR-V.
